Our advanced Akkermansia Probiotic Complex goes beyond single-strain formulas to support your overall wellness — including your body's natural GLP-1 pathway for healthy metabolic function:

GLP-1 Pathway Support | Akkermansia muciniphila: Produces short-chain fatty acids and the protein P9, both shown to stimulate natural GLP-1 secretion from intestinal L cells — supporting healthy appetite signaling and glucose metabolism.

Gut Barrier & Diversity | Akkermansia & BLa80: Helps maintain essential mucus layer function and supports a balanced microbiome — a stronger gut foundation for those on or considering GLP-1 therapies.

Microbiome Nourishment | XOS & 2-FL (HMO): A targeted prebiotic blend that helps feed and sustain beneficial bacteria, including Akkermansia, to keep your GLP-1 support working long-term.

Energy & Antioxidant Support | Salidroside & EGCG: Supports healthy cellular energy metabolism and antioxidant capacity — complementing your metabolic wellness journey.

Trusted Quality | USA cGMP Facility: Manufactured to strict quality standards using globally sourced ingredients.

ONE FORMULA.
MULTIPLE PATHWAYS.

The clinically studied strain shown to restore natural GLP-1 and appetite-regulating hormones, support healthy weight management, and rebuild gut barrier integrity in an 8-week human RCT.

High-potency foundation strain for digestive comfort, bloating relief, and microbial diversity — creating the gut environment that allows AKK to thrive.

Adaptogenic compound from Rhodiola rosea. Clinically shown to enhance oxygen utilization and maintain energy and mood stability under physical stress.

Research-backed polyphenol that supports beneficial gut bacteria — including Akkermansia and Bifidobacterium — and provides broad-spectrum antioxidant defense against oxidative stress.

A prebiotic selected to nourish beneficial bacteria.

A bioactive prebiotic found in human breast milk — for immune signaling and gut ecosystem support.

Gut Problems Don't Come Alone
Poor gut health doesn't just mean bloating. It means low energy, brain fog, stubborn weight, weakened immunity, and stress that won't quit. Most probiotics address one symptom. This formula was designed to break the entire cycle.

Every Ingredient Supports the Others
AKK restores your gut barrier and metabolic signaling. BLa 80 and the dual prebiotic blend build the microbial environment AKK needs to colonize. EGCG from green tea actively promotes the growth of both Akkermansia and Bifidobacterium.
Salidroside picks up where gut health leaves off — delivering the energy and stress resilience your body needs while your gut rebuilds. Nothing here is decorative. Every ingredient either feeds, protects, or extends what the others do.

Clinically Studied, Not Just Clinically Inspired
The AKK strain in this formula has been tested in a 130-person human RCT — not borrowed from a loosely related study. The Salidroside is backed by its own RCT for energy and performance. This isn't a formula built on "similar strains" or "related research." It's built on direct evidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is Neumina Akkermansia Probiotics Complex different from a typical probiotic?

Most traditional probiotics focus on Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium for general digestive support. Neumina is centered on Akkermansia muciniphila, a next-generation gut microbe studied for its close relationship with the gut mucus layer and for producing metabolites such as acetate and propionate, which support metabolic health.¹⁻³ The formula also combines Akkermansia with Bifidobacterium and prebiotics for broader microbiome support.

Why does Akkermansia help support the body's natural GLP-1 response?

Research has identified clear pathways. During mucin-related metabolism, A. muciniphila produces short-chain fatty acids such as acetate and propionate, and these short-chain fatty acids have been shown to stimulate GLP-1 secretion from intestinal L cells through FFAR2 signaling.²’⁴’⁷ Researchers have also identified a secreted Akkermansia protein called P9 that directly stimulated GLP-1 secretion and improved glucose homeostasis in studied models.⁵ Together, these findings establish a strong mechanistic basis for Akkermansia's role in supporting the body's natural GLP-1 pathway.⁴’⁵’⁷

Does "GLP-1 support" mean this works like a GLP-1 medication?

No. Neumina is a dietary supplement designed to support the gut microbiome; it is not a GLP-1 receptor agonist drug and should not be expected to work the same way as prescription GLP-1 therapies. It should not be used as a substitute for medical treatment. If you are using a GLP-1 medication or managing blood sugar with prescription drugs, consult your healthcare professional before adding any new supplement.

Why is Akkermansia measured in AFU instead of CFU?

CFU (Colony Forming Units) measures the number of cells that grow into visible colonies under specific culture conditions. AFU (Active Fluorescent Units) is used in flow-cytometry-based viability testing, which measures fluorescently active cells with intact membranes. Because some viable or stressed cells may not grow well on a plate, AFU and CFU are not directly interchangeable. In mixed probiotic blends, flow cytometry has been shown to recover viable cells more consistently than traditional plate counting.⁶
